SHE RECOVERS Mental Health Monday with Lisa Wall

Cultivating Connection, Hope, Identity, Meaning, Empowerment & Support in Your Recovery | A #MentalHealthMonday Recovery Education Session with Lisa Wall

Monday, January 26, 2026 @ 11 AM PT

We’re starting this year off with an interactive and ideological #MentalHealthMonday session that dives into CHIMES—a recovery framework rooted in mental health research gathered from real people with real lived experience. Qualitative studies show that feeling connected, hopeful, and empowered, and finding meaning, reclaiming identity, and receiving support shape our individual healing journeys—and illuminate the interconnectedness, interdependence, and importance of these variables in our recovery.

In this session, Lisa Wall will show how CHIMES comes to life within SHE RECOVERS and how embracing this kind of ideology can support us in bolstering and building our own patchworks of recovery.

During this session, participants will be invited to:

  • Learn the origin and purpose of the CHIME framework and its evolution into CHIMES
  • Explore how connection, hope, identity, meaning, empowerment, and support function as elements that deepen and sustain recovery
  • Examine how CHIMES is reflected in SHE RECOVERS programs, values, and community care practices
  • Reflect on what each CHIMES element might mean personally and collectively
  • Apply CHIMES as a gentle lens for understanding and fostering your own recovery

Participants are encouraged to take what resonates and leave the rest, honoring recovery as self-defined and non-linear.

Join us LIVE for a Q & A session following the presentation.
