DEVELOPMENT
she / her

I am recovering from:
Postpartum depression, anxiety, people pleasing, perfectionism, codependency, and burnout.

What led me to SHE RECOVERS:
I feel my invitation to SHE RECOVERS was divinely inspired. I feel the universe was conspiring to have me reach beyond my comfort zone and reach new heights in my career and as a recovering woman. I started putting my desires and intentions out into the universe in 2022 to lead me towards how I may be of service and help humanity with my skills and talents. Within a few weeks, an opportunity with SHE RECOVERS landed in my lap. I have never received an email with a specific job listing through LinkedIn before and woke up one morning with an email in my inbox with the Development position opening. As I started researching all the incredible things SRF does, I had a full body feeling that this was what I had been looking for! I have not only found a new position within the organization but a new community to call home. The rest is history.

Why I love being a part of this team:
I have been working with women on retreats and in women’s circles for the last couple of years. I have seen, and experienced first hand, what can happen when women feel connected, supported, and empowered in their recovery! I believe we are all in recovery from something and when we take the shame away and begin to share our stories out loud, we lay a brick on the path for another woman to do the same! This is truly heart work for me.

Those that know me best might describe me as:
Authentic. Impactful. Ever Evolving.

How these qualities show up in my everyday life:
These ways of being act as the internal moral compass that drives everything I do and how I choose to show up everyday!

Something unique you may not already know about me:
I am a concert junkie and love all things live music! Most weekends you can find me checking out a show somewhere…I love it all…reggae, rock, bluegrass, hip hop, jam bands etc. If I had the time and money, I would just travel around endlessly following bands!

Something I am most proud of:
Creating and raising two beautiful humans!

Radical self-care look for me looks like:
Recognizing I can’t take care of others or show up as the best version of myself, if I don’t take care of my own well being first.

What I wanted to be when I grew up:
A teacher.

Something that is inspiring me right now:
Even when the world seems chaotic, I have a huge amount of hope! I am inspired by my kids and their generation. I am inspired by women who vulnerably and authentically share their stories out loud and unapologetically show up as their authentic selves, ultimately encouraging others to do the same. I am inspired by the work SRF is doing and the incredible opportunities that await us to help even more women.

The SHE RECOVERS Intention & Guiding Principle resonating the most with me right now is…
We do our individual work in order to create & hold healing spaces for everyone. All women deserve recovery.

My favorite SHE RECOVERS resource is…
I absolutely cannot choose one. ALL OF THEM!
