What is one piece of advice you would give to another woman/non-binary individual who is seeking a community like SHE RECOVERS?
You don’t have to do it alone.
Tell us a little bit about your recovery journey. What tools and resources do you weave into your patchwork of recovery?
Grieving the loss of my mother led me to seek recovery from substance use and recovery led me to transform the relationship I had with my body, my finances, my work, and my purpose. I celebrated six years of freedom from alcohol recently, and I keep my toolkit fresh with dance parties in my kitchen, trauma-informed yoga, qigong, acupressure, audiobooks, podcasts…and so much more!
