Recovering from Body Shame with Bryn Meadows Watch Party | A #MentalHealthMonday Recovery Education Session | Originally aired on February 8, 2021

This coming #MentalHealthMonday, join SHE RECOVERS Team members and co-creators of the SHE RECOVERS Food & Body Neutrality Philosophy, Lisa Wall & Suzie Spitfyre for a Watch Party!

We’re starting 2025 by revisiting Recovering from Body Shame with Bryn Meadows. We are saying no to resolutions and yes to watching a registered master practitioner of clinical counseling explain:

  • How we can cultivate a sense of worthiness around our bodies
  • How beliefs about our worth and bodies are impacted by society
  • Exploring the difference between comforting and numbing in terms of self-care

Lisa and Suzie will introduce the session and share some of their lived experience around food & body shame and how practicing neutrality was an integral part of their recovery.
