About Us
The SHE RECOVERS® FOUNDATION is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity with a growing and evolving community currently consisting of more than 325,000 women – and non-binary individuals who identify with women’s communities.
Our Mission is to inspire hope, reduce stigma and empower women in or seeking recovery for mental health issues, addiction, and other life challenges to increase their recovery capital, heal themselves, and help others to do the same.
Our lifeline organization connects women through its virtual platforms and in-person community networks, provides resources, supports women to develop their own holistic recovery patchworks, and empowers them to thrive and share their successes.
To ensure that the movement is inclusive of all women and non-binary individuals who identify with women’s communities, the Foundation focuses on prioritizing the needs of individuals from historically underserved populations including women of color, LGBTQI+ individuals, women veterans, and differently-abled women.
About You
You are driven by a passion for social change, smashing stigma, and strive to make a significant impact through your work. You are a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment while working independently without a lot of direction. You care deeply about best practices and what it takes to make innovative concepts come to life. You have a creative spirit and love to grow along with ever-changing technology.
