Treatment Providers

Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center takes a personalized, multidisciplinary approach to healing. Pathlight believes that mental health isn’t a destination, but a lifelong exploration. Eating Recovery Center (ERC) is a national leader in eating disorder treatment and provides unmatched care for complex medical and psychiatric conditions, including eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. With locations in California, Colorado, Illinois, Texas, Ohio, Maryland, and Washington, plus virtual programs, ERC offers comprehensive eating disorder treatment at all levels of care. Aware Recovery

The Retreat’s National Center for Women’s Recovery is designed by women for women. Located in the Big Woods Preserve of Wayzata, MN, it provides a dignified and pastoral environment for physical, emotional and spiritual healing from substance use disorder, providing a strong foundation for life in recovery. Professional staff and volunteers provide guidance and support to women looking to live free from alcohol and mood-altering chemicals. The National Center for Women’s Recovery philosophy is simple and straightforward—it uses the spiritual principles of Alcoholics Anonymous and an integrated community approach to deliver industry-best outcomes.

The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation is a force of healing and hope for individuals, families, and communities affected by substance use and mental health disorders. As the nation’s leading nonprofit provider of comprehensive inpatient and outpatient addiction and co-occurring mental health treatment for adults and youth ages 12+, the Foundation has locations nationwide, with expansive on-site and telehealth solutions and a network of collaborators throughout health care making it easy and convenient for you to access the care you need, when and how you need it. The Foundation also offers a specialized program for children who grow up in families with addiction—including virtual programs for both children and families. Hazelden Betty Ford recognizes and embraces there are many paths to recovery and is ready to be at your side every step of the journey.

Hammocks on the Edisto is an intimate, boutique recovery center for women with primary substance use disorders that are accompanied by underlying trauma and co-occurring mental health disorders. Hammocks provides highly individualized care in a safe, supportive, retreat like setting utilizing evidence-based approaches and holistic care. They provide services for adult women (18 and older) including a comprehensive, multidisciplinary assessment process at admission, multiple sessions of weekly individual therapy, family counseling with education, process group therapy, psychoeducation, life skills building, holistic life enrichment activities, 12-Step facilitation, sober recreational activities, participation at mutual-help meetings, balanced nutritional meals from a professional chef, case management services, and aftercare planning.

[*Women only program]. Kinder is a residential treatment center for adult women located in Key Largo, Florida. Kinder specializes in trauma recovery, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health conditions but does not treat any substance disorders. Treatments are drawn from research in lifestyle medicine as well as other psychotherapeutic modalities to bring clients to a better resolution of mental health issues. Located in the the beautiful Florida Keys, Kinder provides a private, secure, and luxurious environment for healing. Their healing approach includes multidisciplinary assessments, group and individual therapy, family counseling, art and music therapy, yoga, skills building holistic life enrichment activities, balanced nutritional meals, nutrition education, unique animal encounters and more.

[*Women only program]. New Directions for Women serves clients from all backgrounds, ages, and situations, including pregnancy and women with children. They understand that women are more likely to experience trauma or other social risk factors that affect women disproportionately, and that there are underlying issues when it comes to the development of an addiction. Thus, the program strives to get to the root of the disorder rather than treat it at a surface level. An all-women environment allows clients to address complex issues and experience vulnerability on a level that promotes long-term recovery. Wrap-around substance use treatment services include Detox, Residential, Partial-Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient and Sober Living located on a serene campus, near the beautiful Back Bay in Newport Beach in Southern California. The clinical focus of the program includes narrative therapy, DBT skills, experiential therapy and holistic modalities.

Galen Hope

Galen Hope’s treatment integrates the best concepts of residential programs, partial hospitalization programs, and community psychology in order to provide an experience that not only feels uniquely meaningful, but also breaks the cycle of repeated hospitalizations, over-institutionalization, and isolation from community and family. Due to the individualized and flexible nature of their programming for eating disorders and other mental health conditions, the team at Galen Hope can accommodate clients with a variety of needs and presentations and are prepared to adapt to each individual’s unique circumstances and goals.

Gallus Detox Centers offer competent medical detox programs provided by board-certified physicians and ER/ICU level RN’s for the Arizona area. The expert teams at Gallus Detox Centers understand that entering detox can feel like a difficult process. With a focus on safety, comfort, compassion, and care, the treatment plans designed at Gallus Detox Centers meet the needs and goals of every individual so they may maintain their recovery even after detox treatment completes. Through their luxurious facilities and the breakthrough detox method created by Dr. Gallus, Gallus Detox Centers create ideal environments that promote healing, recovery, and lasting change.

La Amistad Behavioral Health Services are set in quiet, residential areas in Maitland and Winter Park, Florida. Treatment is available to most individuals suffering from psychiatric issues, mental health issues, functional impairment, and substance use disorders. The therapeutic environment at La Amistad is serene and homelike. The team at La Amistad is composed of highly-qualified psychiatrists, psychologists, professional nurses, social workers, therapists and psychiatric attendants who work together to uphold La Amistad’s reputation for excellence in helping patients resolve behavioral health issues. With its headquarters in Brentwood TN, Promises Behavioral Health is a family of centers nationwide ready to help you achieve recovery. The trauma informed and systemic approach at Promises Behavioral Health focuses on healing the whole – body, mind, spirit, and all who have been impacted within the addicted family system. Whether you’re looking for treatment for yourself or for a loved one, their team is ready to help every step of the way. Standards of care at Promises Behavorial Health include: A neurobiological focus, medication assisted therapy, recovery skills and support groups, building emotional awareness and resilience, changing internal narratives, spirituality and connection, and relapse prevention.

The Refuge is a residential program designed for adults with PTSD, eating disorders, addiction, depression and co‑occurring disorders, that promotes physical, spiritual, and emotional healing through a trauma-focused treatment approach. Their comprehensive addiction programming includes evidence-based supports such as: cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), 12-Step ideology, expressive arts, yoga, meditation, breathwork, EMDR, DBT, equine therapy, and individual and group counselling. Situated on over 90 acres of pristine property within the Ocala National Forest, The Refuge provides a secluded environment for clients to experience calm and healing. Clients of The Refuge are invited to unravel the trauma story, understand the addiction and mental health story, and create the recovery story.

Shades of Hope

Shades of Hope was established over 30 years ago and continues to be a leading choice for those living with addictions to substances such as alcohol, drugs and tobacco as well as behavioral addictions such as food, sex, shopping, technology, and gambling. The programs at Shades of Hope are designed to help individuals heal in all aspects of their lives, to unravel and confront core issues to create life-long success. Shades of Hope takes a multi-dimensional therapeutic approach to meet people where they are at. Birch Tree Recovery

Birch Tree Recovery is an outpatient substance use treatment provider based in St. Louis, Missouri. They’re committed to providing their clients with the highest quality of care and support as they work alongside them to create a healthier life, establish self-connection, instill effective coping mechanisms, alleviate anxiety and depression, and further the path of individual success in recovery. They understand that mental health and substance use come with societal stigma that can hinder recovery, so they avoid shame-based language, reject labels and stigma, and use evidence-based clinical mental health treatment to address underlying issues causing maladaptive behavior. They know the human experience is complex and strive to provide a unique, multidimensional treatment experience.

Aware Recovery

The mission at Aware Recovery Care is to help people affected by addiction “Recover Where You Live.” Aware transforms the home into a treatment center, delivering innovative addiction services to those in need where they live. Aware Recovery Care treats addiction like a chronic illness, and their groundbreaking and evidence-based treatment approach provides comprehensive care from a multidisciplinary team of clinicians led by an Addiction Psychiatrist, a Family Systems Therapist, a Registered Nurse, and two Certified Recovery Advisors. HEAL Behavioral Health is an intimate, evidence-based treatment program and licensed Dual Diagnosis facility that treats addictive disorders along with co-occurring mental health or mood disorders. HEAL’s passion is helping clients build a solid foundation for enduring recovery – treating people, not just symptoms. SHAMEBOOTH is the brainchild of artist and interventionist, Paula Williams. A graduate from The Art Institute of Chicago, Paula believes secrecy and judgment are what make shame thrive. She created the Shamebooth to bring people’s shame stories out into the open, meet them with empathy, and banish shame for good. Paula’s desire to help others evolved as the result of years of self medicating with alcohol and pills, and a history of mental health issues, which has led Paula to recovery. This experience has radically shifted her perspective towards others who are suffering and are full of shame, terrified to ask for help.

The Phoenix is a community of over 300,000 people who believe in the power of connection. The Phoenix app brings free events, community and peer support to you anytime, anywhere. Women For Sobriety, Inc. (WFS) is a non-profit organization and a self-help program (also called the New Life Program) for women with Substance Use Disorders. Founded in 1975, it was the first national self-help program for addiction recovery developed to address the unique needs of women. Based upon the thirteen Acceptance Statements, the New Life Program is one of positivity that encourages emotional and spiritual growth. The New Life Program has been extremely effective in helping women to overcome their Substance Use Disorders and learn a whole new lifestyle. As a recovery program, it can stand alone or be used alongside other recovery supports simultaneously.

Supportive Recovery Residences

The Lion House Brownstone is a women’s recovery residence that provides a holistic approach to recovery. The program offers individual and family comprehensive recovery work with only 5 guests at a time which allows for a deep dive into this work with the individual and their family. Chef prepared nutritious and family styled meals and yoga compliment Yoga is offered as well as chef prepared nutritious family style meals in the evenings. Trusting relationships are built with therapists and specialists who provide personalized care to women starting their journey to recovery. Lion House is a MAT friendly home and supports all pathways to recovery. Guests generally stay in the program for 6-12 months. Twelve step meeting attendance and working with a sponsor is encouraged but the program is open to guests attending all types of recovery meetings.

The IAPRC’s mission is to provide leadership in the emerging field of Professional Recovery Coaching worldwide in order to enhance the quality of life and health for individuals, families and communities impacted by addiction. The IAPRC Programs offer dynamic online training that provides learners with a powerful and effective system which combines proven protocols of professional coaching and best practices in drug, alcohol, and addiction recovery. IAPRC encourages excellence in ethics, education, standards, professional development, industry collaboration, and public service. It promotes the interests of professional addiction focused coaches and mentors in the fields of personal development, health and wellness, professional coaching, addiction care, behavioral health, pastoral care, prevention, recovery aftercare and support services worldwide.

The Holistic Coach Training Institute is an ICF (International Coaching Federation) accredited organization. The vision of Holistic Coach Training Institute is to contribute to the global empowerment of Coaches and Coachees to realize and actualize their full potential in all areas of their lives, encompassing the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual levels, through the power of Holistic Coaching. Their mission is to train and empower conscious professionals to become informed and embodied Holistic Coaches who empower others to realize and actualize their full potential in all areas of their life encompassing the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual levels. In the Holistic Coach Certification Program you’ll learn how to foster heart-centered relationships that help coach and client access greater presence and intuition so that they can overcome perceived limitations to realize and actualize their full potential in all areas of life while being supported with awareness, action steps, planning, and accountability.

Jordan Peer Recovery Group is a training institution offering State, National and International Board approved peer recovery trainings, specialized trainings, a peer recovery workforce registry as well as many other support services. They are now offering a specially developed recovery coach training. Jordan Peer Recovery Group believes in the importance of being accommodating to a growing diverse population and the ability to interact effectively with people of different cultures is deeply important to them. This belief is engrained in their staff and training programs and the organization is the leading entity for building cultural responsiveness within the recovery workforce. Cultural responsiveness refers to the use and delivery of recovery resources that is respectful and responsive to the health beliefs and practices—and cultural and linguistic needs—of diverse population groups.


Still Here Recovery Coaching’s goal is to train the best recovery coaches in Canada. Their signature five-day in-person training education has been modeled on the internationally recognized curriculum built by CCAR in the US. Their courses include design thinking to build empathy, motivational interviewing skills practice, mindfulness of listening and developing purpose, and trauma-informed practice and boundaries. Still Here’s coach training program embraces individualized and trauma-informed approaches to recovery care. They provide their students with comprehensive and evidence-based training that instills essential knowledge and skills professional coaches need to guide, mentor, and support people along their recovery pathways.

SHE RECOVERS Certified Recovery Professionals are Coaches, Yoga Teachers, Dance Facilitators and other Healthcare Professionals that have been trained in – and their work aligns with – our SHE RECOVERS® Intentions & Guiding Principles. A large number of our SHE RECOVERS Professionals volunteer their time as Facilitators for our SHE RECOVERS Together Online Program and we are very grateful for the generous donation of their time to do so.
