Recover & Recharge: The Wisdom of Rest with Miranda Brooking

Monday, June 29, 2026 @ 11 AM PT

In a culture that often celebrates productivity, busyness, and hustling for our worth, rest can feel elusive, uncomfortable, or even undeserved. Yet rest is not a luxury—it is an essential part of mental health, well-being, and sustainable recovery.

In this reflective #MentalHealthMonday session, Miranda Brooking invites participants to explore their relationship with rest and what happens when we become depleted. Through education, self-inquiry, and experiential practice, participants will learn to recognize the signs of rest deficiency, distinguish between activities that truly restore and those that merely distract, and reconnect with rest as a vital resource for biological, emotional, and relational recovery.

Together, we will explore how rest supports the body, mind, and nervous system—and how making space for restoration can help us recover, recharge, and reconnect with our healing.

During this session, participants will be invited to:

  • Reflect on their personal relationship with rest and explore the beliefs, habits, and experiences that shape it
  • Recognize common signs of depletion and understand how insufficient rest can show up physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually
  • Learn the difference between activities that genuinely restore and those that may provide temporary relief without replenishment
  • Explore the science and benefits of rest, including its impact on energy, resilience, recovery, and overall well-being
  • Experience a brief guided practice designed to support nervous system regulation and restoration
  • Consider practical, accessible ways to incorporate more restorative rest into daily life

As always, participants are encouraged to take what resonates and leave the rest, honoring their own unique recovery journey, needs, and capacity.

Join us LIVE for a Q & A session following the presentation.
